Patients may request access to notes and documents created during their consultation, in accordance with standard medical record access processes.
Will third parties have access to my information?
No. Patient information is not accessible to third parties, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), which provides the secure server infrastructure.
What if I do not want Lyrebird used during my consultation?
Your care will not be affected in any way. If you prefer not to use Lyrebird during your consultation, simply let your doctor know and it will be turned off.
How long is information retained?
Lyrebird-created notes and documents are generally retained for up to 7 days to allow transfer into your medical record. Information can be deleted earlier if required.
How accurate are Lyrebird notes?
Lyrebird is designed to create accurate and comprehensive consultation notes. However, all notes are reviewed and approved by your doctor before being saved into your medical record.
