A mixed-billing clinic, committed to provide the highest standard of healthcare to our community

At Parkhill Medical Centre, we pride ourselves on providing the best healthcare services to our patients. To achieve this in today’s environment, it is not possible to bulk-bill everyone every time. Therefore, an out-of-pocket consultation fee will apply in most cases.

GP Consultation Fees

Bulk-billing services will still apply to concession card holders who holds a valid health care card, pension card, DVA and children under the age of 15 between 9:00am-4:00pm on weekdays with an appointment booked with all of our General Practitioners. Outside these hours and Saturdays private-billing applies.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, credit or EFTPOS. The Medicare rebate can be claimed directly for you and thus paid directly into your nominated bank account within 24-48 hours.

*Our regular fee structure has been updated as of the 01 October 2022.

Cosmetic Fees

Xeomin injectable: $15 / unit or $14 /unit for 50 or more

Deposit fee: a $50 deposit fee is required to be paid when booking the appointment to minimize the cancellation of cosmetic appointments. The $50 fee will be deducted from the final cost of your injectables procedure.

If your appointment needs to be canceled, a 24 hour notice is required to have the deposit refunded.

Workcover & TAC Fees

Workcover applies to consultations about an injury that has occurred in the workplace. TAC applies to consultations about injuries sustained in a road traffic accident. Medicare does not rebate these consultations.

There will not be an out-of-pocket cost with a valid claim number. Patients without claim number have to pay in full for their WorkCover or TAC related consultation.

You can then seek reimbursement from the relevant insurance company or your employer. The employer should reimburse the first $735 of a WorkCover claim.

These requirements do not apply for patients under the age of 12 months.

Results / Scripts / Referrals

Follow-up of Test Results

Unless previously organised by your doctor, patients are required to make an appointment for results of investigations. If your results come back and they require an early appointment, you will be advised by the receptionist/nurse. Results cannot be given to you over the phone by reception staff as they do not have medical qualifications.

The fee for results appointments may be reduced or bulk billed, at the discretion of your doctor, depending on the nature and complexity of the consultation involved.

Scripts and Referral Letters

All prescriptions and referral letters require a consultation. At your doctor’s discretion, in exceptional circumstances, a prescription or referral letter may be provided without a consultation.

A fee of $20 will apply for each prescription and each referral letter.

After Hours Consultation

Please call 13 SICK on 13 7425.

A report from the treating Doctor will be sent to your usual GP with the treatment and management plan.
